:If you're not talking about Complete Collection, that depends on whether or not Unleashed is installed. Without Unleashed, there are only the ten residential lots on the Sim Lane loop. With Unleashed, there are about 30 lots in Old Town. By default, eight of them are zoned as community lots (one is vacant). Of course, that's per neighborhood, not per game.
