Merging with The Sims 3 (console)
::: Yes I agree with Bob and my point is also that one, it would be a huge mess creating 1 page to 10 games with their own features. I suggest a new comparison page to write what are the features that both have in common and different features, also. Thanks for reading. --Guilherme Guerreiro <small>(talk here)</small> 09:28, December 8, 2010 (UTC)
::::If console versions of those games are ever released, those versions themselves would be given their own page, similar to how expansion packs for the computer game receive their own pages. For The Sims 3 (console), all you need is to make sure information is present under the correct sections; that will make finding information there easier. Also, avoiding repetition between games would be helpful since many of them share features. The reason I would advocate for keeping the console games together is that there are only minute differences between the versions of TS3 released on certain platforms, and those differences are few enough to only need to be detailed in one article. I still support merging. -- <font color="green">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="navy">talk</font> · <font color="navy">blog</font> 15:39, December 8, 2010 (UTC)

:::: Maybe we should split the console pages into individual articles for the Wii, X360/PS3 and DS/3DS versions of the game. There shouldn't be a main page for the console game, so the individual articles are not redundant. Also, the only TS3 EP to get a console release was Pets, so I doubt that we'll have to create loads of pages for them. --Norman Average 17:18, December 8, 2010 (UTC)

:::::Point taken, merge proposal withdrawn. -- <font color="green">LostInRiverview</font><sup> <font color="navy">talk</font> · <font color="navy">blog</font></sup> 22:08, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

I dont know whats sadder...
Im not sure whats sadder. That the early PS2/GC/XB sims games (IE: The Sims Bustin Out), have better graphics, or that the game was terrible.

:Do take into account that they were trying to push an open world with this, which isn't very common for a Wii game. Technically because they have to stream more data around the Wii's 64MB VRAM (also taking into account that this version had no load screens), they'd have to make compromises visually, just look at the GTA series on PS2 as another example. Of course, the game was horrendously buggy and as the Wii didn't have a natural title update system (like on PC, PS3, 360), they never got fixed. LabSig 10:06, May 27, 2013 (UTC)
