:Please don't jump into conclusions too soon. This PlantSimism can merely be cosmetics and just a temporary state to the Sim. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a new life state. In the case of TS3, what constitutes a life state is explicitly stated in the game codes (hence why zombie, toadified Sim, and tragic clown don't count as life states). I'm not sure if it's the case of TS4, so if anyone can prove it, please say so.
