Usage of Maxis Debug Objects
I agree that this debug object can cause problems. I've looked at all of these objects and my conclusion is that most of their functions have been created to solve one specific issue that its developer faced. They do not work well if used in a different neighborhood or game version, they do not check for errors, or fail gracefully. Often a function will do something more than its title would suggest.

Resurrect Dead Sim
I'm a little confused and unsure about this step.

:"Kill the Sim and then resurrect them normally"

Because if the Sim is already deceased, the option to kill the Sim if clicked will not work, because the Sim is already deceased.

If a Sim like Bella Goth for instance has a death token but doesn't have the ticked ghost flag, if the player attempts to kill her with this method she will die, but there will be no tombstone.

Also her character file is unlinked, so the only way to resurrect her would be using SimPE. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:48, August 21, 2015 (UTC)
