Tara Kat is a premade sim that appeared in [[The Sims 2: Pets]]. She dreams of owning a pet shop. Tara is the daughter of [[Ginia Kat]],(Although she does not appear on Tara's Family Tree) who has died, and she believes that every one should have a cat. She has three cats: [[Mickey Kat|Mickey]], [[Samantha Kat|Samantha]] and [[Faline Kat|Faline]].
Her mother was originally in [[The Sims: Unleashed]]. Now her daughter is in The Sims 2: Pets. Right before the user starts playing the house, Tara adopts a kitten. Tara wonders if her older cats will accept it as a new part of the family.
