Throughout [[The Sims series|''The Sims'' series]], there are various ways for Sims[[Sim]]s to teleport from one location to another. Teleportation is either a special ability that only certain Sims can possess or learn, or something that's done by using an object. Normally, teleportation is not a [[free will]] action; it is something the player must direct a Sim to do. Sometimes Sims may end up in an unroutable spot, causing them to get stuck, and they have to be directed to teleport again in order to get out of it.
