Uses

This template is intended for use on temporarily protected pages. It informs users that the page is semi- or fully-protected, and advises them to raise appropriate issues on the article talk page.

Syntax

Parameter

There is one parameter, expiration. This parameter is mandatory. Note that this parameter plugs the date into {{Countdown}} and gives a running countdown on the template itself, so the format of the date must be compatible with {{Countdown}}. Other parameters may be added in the future.

The template is set up to display an accurate message if a page is semi-protected or fully protected. If the page is not protected, the template will not appear at all.
