Sock type parameter Edit

I think sockpuppetry as the type parameter serves no purpose, as we generally block a sock user right away. Nikel Talk Vote! 06:23, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

A known sock is usually blocked on sight, especially if they are repeat offenders. But often people can unknowingly break this rule, so it may be useful to have a warning for them in the event that they do so with no ill intent. And since it doesn't hurt anything or anyone to keep the parameter available, I think we should keep it. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 07:05, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
