The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat
Tents return in The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat, and are useful for sleeping on public campgrounds but can also be used at home. On a residential lot they can bought in build mode, but as rental lots in Granite Falls do not give access to build mode, the player has to buy one from a nearby rangingranger station. There are two available tents: one small and one large. Tents can be put in inventories and placed anywhere in a neighborhood

Alongside sleeping, napping and relaxing, teens and older can read the Wilderness Digest in a tent, which will give basic tips on how to vacation in Granite Falls. Sims can tell ghost stories within a tent, however, it is only available after 7PM and requires at least one other Sim to be inside the tent. Planning outfits is possible with a tent as well and it will bring the player to Create a Sim. Children can also play in the tent and older Sims can WooHoo in them. Like with beds, Sims who are feeling sad or embarrassed can either cry or hide in a tent to relieve their negative emotion. Patch 63 gave toddlers the possibility to sleep and play in tents.
