The Sims 3 Create-A-Sim is a stand-alone version of The Sims 3's Create a Sim. It is available in some countries, such as South Africa and Israel.

This program is just the CAS alone, but Sims created with it can be shared. It is also rumored that players cannot use or have custom content within this game. ^{[confirmation needed]}
