It features gameplay similar to ''[[The Sims 3: World Adventures]]''. Sims can book a vacation to [[Selvadorada]], where they can develop their [[Selvadoradian culture]] skill and experience the Latin world. Sims can also go out into the jungle to traverse across large landscapes, developing their [[archaeology]] skill. In the jungle, they can hack through vines to find a temple, in which they must figure out how to work around various traps and [[skeleton]]s to reach the grand [[treasure chest]] at the end.
