In April, an EA employee leaked information on Twitter that development The Sims 4 had begun. However, that is the only information we know about it. If the same amount of expansion packs are released for The Sims 3, based on the times of The Sims 2 expansion packs were released, The Sims 4 should be expected in 2013/2014.
