The community has been asked to design a new logo for The Sims Wiki's Fanon Namespace. Submit your original designs here.

Voting has begun! Late submissions may be accepted.

Submission Guidelines

Here you can submit your design for the new logo. Follow these guidelines to submit your design:

Design

  1. The logo must be your original design. It must be considered fair use under United States copyright law.
  2. The logo must be related to The Sims series.
  3. The logo should have the name, "The Sims Fanon Wiki", on it.
  4. The logo must not violate our policy by using inappropriate words or images.

Format and size

You can create a logo using any image editing software that allows you to save files in .png format.[1]

Image size
Logos must be the size of 250x65 pixels - the official size of the wiki wordmark.
File format
Save the image to your hard drive in .png format. (Note that the ".png" file extension must be in lower case. If it is saved as .PNG you should rename it before uploading it.)
Logo images must use transparency.

Submitting

Upload and place your logo under the "Submissions" Section below using this format: [[File:filename|left|thumb|~~~]].

Make sure that you are logged in when you upload and include your signature so we can verify that the logo is your original work.

  1. ↑ You can use programs such as Photoshop, Fireworks, Photo-Paint, PaintShop Pro, Inkscape, and similar applications to create .png files. If you don't have an image editing program already, The GIMP and Paint.NET are free open-source tools.
