*Although he's only been here for a couple of months, Sims2Player has made many constructive contributions to pages, as well as adding several inter-wiki links. He definitely deserves to become a featured editor! ― <font color="maroon">C.Syde</font> (<font color="black">talk</font> &#124; <font color="black">contribs</font>)
:#I definitely vote for him because he has worked so hard on this wiki for the past couple of months. He adds links to articles that need them and helps all around. Also, he is a very friendly person. He definitely deserves Featured Editor. I feel like it is past time for him to be Featured Editor. - <span style="text-shadow:purple 0px 2px 2px;color:purple">Sapphire</span> <span style="text-shadow:blue 0px 2px 2px;color:blue">Moondust</span> (<font color="#0000CD">talk</font>) 20:47 September 2, 2015 (UTC)

:#Everybody does minor edits,, You don't need to feel bad or anything about it. Though I believe that minor edits (Categorizing, Thumbnails etc..) are not as full-page improvements, adding sources/images, templates to pages, but everybody does minor edits, it doesn't really decrease of the value of the person. All (Or most) of my recent edits now are just minor such as adding images, family trees for TS1 Families and some other stuff, and the last really improving thing that I have done was on the Vacation Island page. I know that you are already have experience with source and stuff (Like you are a bureaucrat in the dutch version of this wiki) , and that you are not doing minor edits for training. Your fanons are neat and in good-standards (Reader Review: Even though I think you should add more in-depth info about their life), your fanons being neat and organized is enough to prove that you already have an experience with editing source. You are a truly great person and editor, so I vote. But remember: Anything you do is contributing, no matter how small, or how big. :*(comment) Sims2Player has made around 2,000 edits but I see most of them are minor edits, such as adding general links, adding punctuation, and resizing image. I wouldn't deem the edits remarkable because they don't really improve article quality a lot. But please don't let this discourage you. Instead, encourage yourself so you could improve your field of editing, like correcting grammar, phrases, and layouts. I wouldn't deny your hard work from your numerous edits though. It's just that, to me, quality is over quantity. :) <span style="color:#007FFF; text-shadow: #ACE5EE 0 4px 4px;">Nikel</span> <span style="color: #30D5C8 ; text-shadow: #00FFEF 0 4px 4px;">Talk</span> – <span style="color:red ; text-shadow:#E97451 0 4px 4px;">Vote!</span> 07:25, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
:*(comment) Your comment didn't really make my day, or did any good with my feelings. It actually feels bad because I think I worked very hard for this Wiki. Not like you because you have the most edits on this Wiki. But that comment gave me the feeling I didn't do anything... I know, you don't mean it like that. <font color="red">Sims</font> <font color="blue">Player</font> (talk) (mistakes) 11:25, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
:*(comment) And now I feel bad because I feel like I've worked very hard for the wiki, doing my best and since I do minor edits, I feel as though those edits are worthless now. Me and Sims2Player make very similar edits and now I feel bad too. Not trying to cause trouble, but that is how I'm feeling now. :*(comment) I can understand how Nikel's comment could be interpreted as negative, but I don't think that was his intent. If I were to try and restate what he said, I would guess that his comment was meant to be more along the lines of "you have demonstrated editing skill in making relatively minor edits, and we'd like to see you expand into more complex editing." It's not that minor edits are bad edits or useless, it's just that you have shown promise with editing, and I think that you're capable of making more significant edits than the ones you've been making. From my perspective, my concern is that you perceive yourself as not being capable of making more challenging edits, so you selectively make minor edits; if this is a misinterpretation, I apologize. Regardless, that's what I think Nikel was trying to say, though he'll have to confirm whether or not I'm correct in my assessment. - <font color="navy">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="green">talk</font> • <font color="green">blog</font> • <font color="green">contribs</font> 16:48, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
:*(comment) I understand that. But browse trough my edits (Don't do that) and you will see that I made pages and did some minor changes. Nikel, I'm not making minor edits because I want to train editing skills. I do them because they are a helpful and fast way of editing. I didn't started with making minor edits since Sapphire made them. She inspired me to do that. But I also make major edits and I'm currently trying to make a detailed fanon neighborhood. But I truly understand it. :*The lesson I think many people in this day and age need to learn is to receive and accept criticism. Criticism is not made because one hates you, but because there is room for improvement. Nobody is perfect and everybody is subject to criticism. Avoiding criticism is simply sticking your head under the sand. You can only learn from mistakes and flaws, never through perfection. --I am <span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span> <span style="color:#0080FF">Talk to me!</span> <span style="color:#0B4C5F">See what I have done</span> 00:29, September 4, 2015 (UTC)
:*@Sims2Player: I had no intent to make it sound negative at all, nor did I say all your work had no effort. Your being active already showed how much you've worked hard for this wiki, and it's good. I only pointed this out because this is a nomination for Featured Editor, and I didn't mean to be personal. I believe that I'd support my vote more if your edits can be expanded.

::That's my Featured Editor standpoint. In TSW standpoint, you're already good and I couldn't demand anything from you. Minor edits are as constructive as major edits in improving this wiki. You need to enjoy yourself with editing and not live up by anyone's expectation, and that's what I think is important. :::Sure, but the idea that some users think I only make minor edits just makes me feel angry/sad...

:::Look at all the pages I made, or the missing information I added. Or the fanon pages I created. I really work hard on this Wiki. <font color="red">Sims</font> <font color="blue">Player</font> (talk) (mistakes) 13:42, September 10, 2015 (UTC)
::::Sims2Player, another very key aspect of being a great editor is to handle criticism. Even though I have made many edits, added lots of information, worked really hard on the wiki, I still get criticized for my actions from time to time. Hard work is not an exemption from being rebuked. The key is to listen to other editors and listen to what they have to say, because more often than not other people can see the flaws that you yourself cannot see. This applies to me and everyone else as well, and is not a personal comment against you. You need to focus on what you're lacking, not just what you're good at. I am lacking at many aspects of life, and I have to focus on them too, not just the things I'm good at. If I only cared about the things I was good about, I'm as deaf and dumb as anyone who locked themselves up in a room and isolated themselves from society indefinitely. Responding to criticism with anger or frustration is the absolute wrong way of doing it. Criticism is not a means of destruction, it is a means of improvement. You can't learn by being good, you can only learn from being wrong. --I am <span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span> <span style="color:#0080FF">Talk to me!</span> <span style="color:#0B4C5F">See what I have done</span> 14:24, September 10, 2015 (UTC)
