An [https://simscommunity.info/2020/09/23/the-sims-blog-how-were-addressing-skin-tone-improvements-in-the-sims-4/ official blog post] by EA confirms that over 100 new [[skin]] tones (with accompanying lightness sliders), as well as makeup opacity sliders, will be added to the game in December. The forthcoming update on October 6 for PC/Mac and November 10 for consoles will improve the game's hairstyles and current skin tone options. (Sep 24, 2020)
