However, she did hold the equivalent of the Op role in the past (by virtue of being sysop/admin) and used the powers appropriately. So, I was recently promoted to Op not even two weeks ago. Ordinarily I wouldn't attempt to move up yet again this quickly. However, the circumstances justify this. As of this writing, there are only two SuperOps, one who is marked inactive and the other marked as semi-active. The potential candidate list is very short, and any other potential candidates would have to go through the Op nomination process first.

And given that we've recently had an IRC channel reform, we definitely could do with a couple more operators. You've been a half operator since 2013, but you've only been an operator for less than two weeks. But like you've said, we currently only have two SuperOps, and I don't see why being an operator for less than two weeks should have any negative effects on your nomination.
