The Sims Wiki:User Created Contests/Ugliest Player-Created Sim

This is a contest in which you have to make a super-duper ugly Sim using The Sims 3. Entries are being taken now, and will be accepted until March 15th, 2010. Voting will start March 17th, 2010, and go until April 17th, 2010. Note: Contest will go for longer if necessary.

Please read all the rules, because if something isn't allowed, you will get a warning and your entry will be removed.

Rules

• You can only enter once
• No Simselfs (Sims that are supposed to look like yourself or somebody you know). You may make one of yourself if you want, but if you make one of somebody you know, do not include their information (such as full name, phone number, or age) . If you do you'll be automatically disqualified and/or blocked!

• No Exchange Sims that you didn't create

• No hacks, mods, store items, or custom-content (besides slider-hack)

• Please only use items from the base game. That means no items from The Sims 3: World Adventures or The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff

• Sims 3 Sims only

• The Sim has to be a young-adult or an adult

• You must provide a head-shot and a full-body picture

• Must be registered user

If you break the rules or your entry does not qualify, it will be removed.

Voting Guidelines

• You sign your user name after your vote/entry with ~~~~

• You may only vote once

How to Enter

Put === ===, then enter your username in the space. Then copy and paste the following:

Upload the head-shot and full-body shots of your Sims, and enter the appropriate ones in the category. Here's an example of what the code should look like:

NOTE: If 150px looks too big, then try something smaller like 75px or 120px.

How to Vote

Don't vote just yet! Voting starts March 7th! (Any early votes will be removed!)

Click the button at the top of the page entitled "Edit this Page". Then, once your at the editing screen, click the button on the right or second level left entitled "Source". Scroll down, and you should something like this:

Where it has the #-- type ~~~~ after. If somebody or multiple people has/have already signed their name(s) there, make another line by pressing the enter button on your keyboard at the end of their signature and writing #-- and ~~~~.

DO NOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN!!! WE WANT THIS TO BE A FAIR CONTEST!

Tips

• Click the tab button on your keyboard and then click the down, up, Z, or X keys to get a better picture

• Preview your entry because you save the page. Does you entry look right? If not go back and make changes. If you save without previewing and make a mistake, go to the page history and undo your edit. If you aren't sure how to fix it, tell an admin, or somebody with good editing experience and hopefully they'll know.
