Personally I think we should use some of the topmost nominations for the next battles, mainly to get them over with and then go back to choosing the next battle via the number of votes. Of course, the topmost nominations should have some votes in order to be chosen for the next battles.

:The instructions only say that "Nominations will be reviewed by an administrator." Naturally I pick the one that has the most votes and comments combined. However, this does mean that older nominations that lack sufficient votes will probably never make it to battles. That would eventually lead to the nomination page becoming of unbearable size, to the point that one's computer would crash trying to load the page. We definitely need a better method of handling nominations than the current one we have. :1. That's just the same as the fanon battles which are retired, and I doubt it will be resurrected.
:2. Canon battles get almost no votes, so I doubt anyone is interested in battles with selfmade Sims.
