:::We may as well go for the first two options as opposed to wiping out the entire namespace. Personally I think it mainly comes down to us having a lack of users with enough technical knowledge in order to write a seemingly acceptable form of tutorial...or may have no idea that we even have a tutorial namespace because we've literally never promoted it. Promotion can go either way but it's definitely worth a try. GGsig 18:00, June 30, 2012 (UTC)
::::Agree completely with Georgie. I for one don't know much about the technical aspects of the game, but when the namespace was created I had hoped that those users who did have that knowledge would step in and help us provide that info. Perhaps there's a way for us to obtain that knowledge anyways? -- <font color="navy">LiR</font> <font color="green">speak</font> ~ <font color="green">read</font> 06:32, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
:::::All I can think of is that if we can't provide original information but we still want to write a tutorial on something, we can get some information from elsewhere, like we do with most mainspace articles, and do what we usually do. And by that I mean don't copy an entire article as it would be a copyvio and pointless; just use the references to back up that it is research. If we ever decide to go down that route for tutorials then maybe a template on a page with external citations saying, "This tutorial may include research from external resources" or something like that just to show that it's not 100% our original information and to acknowledge that it's someone else's work. GGsig 11:19, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
