From what I saw, Sapphire was selected to be September's featured editor and not S2P. There is no featured editor queue, like there is a featured article queue, and in practice the votes for every nominee is reset after each voting period. The votes were thus reset. --I am <span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span> <span style="color:#0080FF">Talk to me!</span> <span style="color:#0B4C5F">See what I have done</span> 21:13, September 2, 2015 (UTC)
:Since they tied, it seems like it would be unfair to have Sims2Player up for nomination again. I mean, it seems likely that they'll win this time around, but that's not a guarantee. So I'd rather we just pull Sims2Player's nomination, have him as the FE in October, and then increase the voting time on this month's nominations to last through October instead of September. -- <font color="navy">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="green">talk</font> • <font color="green">blog</font> • <font color="green">contribs</font> 21:16, September 2, 2015 (UTC)
::Or we should create a queue to list winning nominees in so this confusion (since there is no policy or guideline governing what happens during a tie) doesn't happen again. It would also help in reducing the months where we miss featured editor listings because nobody bothered to nominate themselves during a specified voting period. --I am <span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span> <span style="color:#0080FF">Talk to me!</span> <span style="color:#0B4C5F">See what I have done</span> 21:22, September 2, 2015 (UTC)
