::::I believe the new archive layout was created not long after the total revamp of the procedures of RfA's and RfB's. Personally, I like the new archives as they aren't all cluttering in one big page. However, if you are really wanting to archive them, you can probably do them by month. But, I think something like that should be decided by the community as a whole.
