Throughout most of the story Thomas had helped Alice get through her troubles with debt and the kidapping of her own dog [[Sam Whitt]]. In Open End Classic mode in the family bio it says he and Alice have know each other since they were kids.
And he has had a crush on her ever sice they were children but he was to nervous to tell her.
