(The traps and boulder aren't meant to be deleted with testingcheatsenabled in the first place, so don't do it. The method for creating a playable mummy is covered in its own page also.)

Mummies are very nasty creatures that attack Sims that get them out of their sarcophagus. They can either make the Sim with whom they fight to pass out, or worse, cast a curse upon Sims that lose a fight with them, which if not dealt with in two weeks, will kill the Sim. Mummies have 5-10 skill points in Athletic and Martial Arts skills and are quite strong and difficult to defeat, especially in Al Simhara, where mummies have mastered the Martial Arts skill. Mummies can be defeated with enough Athletic and Martial Arts skill or coaxed to return to their sarcophagus with Mummy Snacks. Mummies are also devastated by fire, so luring one into a fire trap will kill it. It is possible to get a playable Mummy to enter your household permanently by collecting all five of the canopic jars, a relic collection found primarily but not exclusively in Al Simhara. Once the jars are in your possession you need only to put them into a sarcophagus at home (constructed from fragments) via a special option which will pop up when you have all five jars. The Mummy will then climb out and immediately become a part of your household only if you have seven or less Sims in the household. Your Sim can also become a Mummy if they sleep in a reconstructed cursed sarcophagus of the kings too many times. The chances of this happening are slim but do it enough and it will happen. This can be cured by sleeping in the blessed sarcophagus of the kings. Mummies can be triggered by a number of things usually interaction with objects in rooms or simply entering the room itself. They can also be triggered by looting some sarcophagi so be careful when digging around in a rooms with sarcophagus in them.

Some boulders are too large to clear with a pick axe. They require a special artifact: Pangu's Axe, from Shang Simla to clear. Clearing these boulders can give the Sim access to previously blocked areas of a tomb and may even reveal treasure underneath.

Clearing these boulders can give the Sim access to previously blocked areas of a tomb and may even reveal treasure underneath. If you don't have the time or simply don't want to go to china and acquire the axe then you might want to know that there is another way. By entering the testingcheatsenabled true cheat in the ctrl+shift+C menu you can access a special secret menu by clicking objects while holding down shift and ctrl. One of the options you get when clicking a giant boulder is the delete option. Using this cheat menu you can delete the boulders and get at whatever they were hiding. But be careful when and where you choose to use cheats to break traps and other mechanisms in tombs. Many tombs are connected adventures which are the only way to get visa. So if you break into all the tombs and unlock every door before looking for the quest that would have given you the key you may find that there are no adventure opportunities available. If you deactivate more than 10% of the adventures you can never reach visa level three in that location, and you need visa level three to get those vacation homes so be careful what you do when cheating your way through or into tombs.
