Each trait chip is separated into four hidden categories: Ability, Skill, Service, and Social. Plumbots have from 3 to 7 slots depending on its quality level. Plumbots can be upgraded to have more trait chip slots. Sims will be able to buy trait chips from the Bot Emporium in [[Oasis Landing]], or design and create them with Reventlov's Bot Workshop, using the [[Bot Building]] skill.
