Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm 2325 years old and originally from Leicestershire (UK), and I now live in NottinghamshireWarwickshire, an incredible twenty miles away from the town where I grew up and where my family still live. I have beenwas a student at the University of Nottingham sincefrom 2009 to 2014, and have studied there both as an undergraduate and a postgraduate. I currently hold a BA in English, will soon graduate withand an MA in Medieval English, and inam Septemberstruggling 2013to Iturn beganthem into a PhDsuccessful incareer Late Medieval and(or, Earlyfailing Renaissance English Literaturethat, whichany Inon-soul-crushing ampaying duejob towould completedo). inFor latefive 2016.years I amwas an active member of my university's Science Fiction & Fantasy Society. and, more recently, its Science Fiction Reading Group, which pretty much sets the pattern for most of my down-time: I love collecting and reading books; (I'm into most genres but my favourites are SF&F, horror, mystery, and classics.); and I like superherotales moviesof superheroes, lowspooky-as-opposed-to-budgetgory horror, and big-budgetambitious sci-fi, andeither althoughon Ithe don'tbig watchor muchsmall TVscreen, anybut morepreferably I'mboth, aone madlyafter devotedthe fan of a few great shows right nowother. I am a pescetarian and I love travelling, both in the UK and abroad, and although frequently I find a place I like and keep returning to it, I try to work in something new every now and then as well. And I am a huge ''Sims ''fan, of course.

I've been playing ''Sims ''since the original game was released in the UK when I was 10 years old. I've played both ''The Sims'' and ''The Sims 2'' with all their expansion packs/stuff packs. I'm a little way behind on my collection of ''The Sims 3'' since my old laptop wasn't quite up to spec to run it, but I'm almost caught up now, and hope to do so by the time ''The Sims 4'' is released next year. I also own all three of ''The Sims Stories ''games, both ''The Sims Medieval ''games (some of my favourites, for obvious reasons), and a few console spin-offs for PS2 and Wii. I own quite a few other games too but, let's be honest, with a ''Sims ''collection that huge I'm only very occasionally going to dip in and out of them. They include a bunch of ''Tomb Raider ''and ''Silent Hill'' games, some ''Marvel Avengers'' and ''DC Superheroes'' adaptations, and quite a bit of stuff centred around either Lego or Sherlock Holmes. The day they make that crossover I may well be in geeky heaven. :P
