Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm 22 years old and originally from Leicestershire (UK), and I stillnow live in myNottinghamshire, homean county, incredible althoughtwenty notmiles myaway homefrom the town. where I recentlygrew up and where my family still live. In July 2012 I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degreeBA in English, and I'm amnow returningback toat the same university laterstudying thisfor monthan toMA startin aMedieval master'sEnglish degreeand applying for a PhD in Medievalthe Englishsame subject. I am an active member of my university's Science Fiction & Fantasy Society. I love collecting and reading books; I'm into most genres but my favourites are SF&F, horror, mystery and classics. I like superhero movies, low-budget horror and big-budget sci-fi, and although I don't watch much TV any more I'm a madly devoted fan of a few great shows right now. And I am a huge ''Sims ''fan, of course.

I've been playing Sims since the original game was released in the UK when I was 10 years old. I've played both ''The Sims'' and ''The Sims 2'' with all their expansion packs/stuff packs. I'm way behind on my collection of ''The Sims 3'' since my old laptop wasn't quite up to spec to run it, but now I have a new computer I'm hoping to catch up.  I also own ''The Sims 2: Castaway'' and ''MySims ''on Wii, the original console trilogy on PS2 (''The Sims/Bustin' Out/The Urbz''),''The Sims Stories'' and ''The Sims Medieval'', the latter of which I especially love because I can pass it off as coursework revision in the right light. I own quite a few other games too but, let's be honest, with a ''Sims ''collection that huge I'm only very occasionally going to dip in and out of them. They include a bunch of ''Tomb Raider ''and ''Silent Hill'' games, some ''Marvel Avengers'' and ''DC Superheroes'' adaptations, and quite a bit of stuff centred around either Lego or Sherlock Holmes. The day they make that crossover I may well be in geeky heaven. :P
