**Five years later: Nancy is enjoying her retirement. She plays competitive chess, where she met Carrie Farnsworth, a teenager who she has become close to. She presented an art class at the local school, and enjoys painting on her balcony overlooking the rolling hills and fields. She bought a sky-blue Yomoshoto Evasion and became a business partner at the bookstore. She joined the River Front Swim Club and enjoys going to Riverview gym. She celebrated her 100th birthday with a dinner at the bistro with her best friend Nancy Chow. |
