The Sims Wiki has a feature which allows any user to create '''user blogs''', where they can write without necessarily strictly adhering to the topic of a particular article or to the wiki itself. Compilations for The Sims

There are several compilations for The Sims. These compilations combine The Sims base game and one or more expansion packs, and several compilations also feature additional items and extras not included in the base game or individual expansion packs. Compilations for The Sims were released starting in 2002 with The Sims Deluxe Edition, with the final compilation - The Sims Complete Collection/The Sims Full House - arriving in 2008.

The Sims Wiki has a feature which allows any user to create user blogs, where they can write without necessarily strictly adhering to the topic of a particular article or to the wiki itself. The wiki community has chosen not to limit the ability of regular users to produce these blogs; however, there are some guidelines that should be considered

  1. Blogs should be relevant in some way to The Sims or The Sims Wiki. The standards of relevancy for blogs are not as high as for mainspace articles, but blogs are also not meant to be a place to talk about completely off-topic sentiments or minutiae.
  2. Blogs should be interesting to read. This is The Sims Wiki, not Facebook; no one is really interested in reading about whether or not you enjoy a particular musician, what you ate for dinner last night, or other irrelevant musings. Besides, we have an extensive catalog of Userboxes that you can put on your user page that serve this purpose.
  3. Blogs should be written for some purpose. Writing a blog for the sake of telling everyone how you're doing serves no real purpose, except to display yourself as a narcissist. Blogs can be written for entertainment purposes, but they should at least be entertaining in these cases.
  4. Blogs should be well-written. A blog with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation is both easier and more enjoyable to read. Having to sift through poorly-written content muddles the message that the blog is trying to present.
  5. Blogs shouldn't replace articles or forum posts. Blog posts are not meant to be encyclopedic, but the mainspace is. If a blog has information that would be useful to contain in an article, the information should be added to an article instead. Additionally, The Sims Wiki has several forums dedicated to game discussions, community discussions, and game help, which can be used instead of blog posts.
