About me

A 30-something Australian, fangirl, fanfiction reader, fond of a handful of computer games including Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age and The Sims.

The name Mimi Sardinia is from a character I made up before I got online, then made what was initially a role-play journal for her on LiveJournal, but I got involved in a new fandom using that journal as a sockpuppet and ended up transferring all my online interaction to it, rendered my old journal unused.

The character of Mimi Sardinia, which I have created sims for, is usually a blonde female sim. Where possible she is fat, in The Sims 3 she has dark brown roots in her hair, indicating she is in fact a bottle blonde. She wears her hair in pigtails and usually wears a lot of blue. The current version of Mimi Sardinia I have in play is living as an NPC is Aurora Skies and can sometimes be spotted around town with advanced technology items like a Holo Sprite. When I made her I left her with a Wellsian Time Portal in her inventory.

I have a sentimental fondness for the Goth family of The Sims 3 and for Bella Bachelor and Mortimer Goth of that game in particular.

My user icon is of Elenaria Surana, my Warden in Dragon Age: Origins. She is an Elven Mage Warden based on a role-play character from LotR, Kizár Durin aka Elennárë Fëanoriel aka Elenarien, Rayaél - the Silmaril that fell into a fiery chasm. I play sims of her and her sisters Lossanárë Andraste and Elenlossë Theirin (and in those names are indications of links they have in their RP backstories). I had version of them in The Sims 4 as well, but the game became unplayable after the patch just before Get Together. Other sims I have in play:  

Oraania Praadecallin - an insane sims living in Isla Paradiso.  

Nina Donovan and Malcom Corrin - housemates in Aurora Skies.  

Mikaela Pridain - living in Moonlight Falls with a partner, Plantsim child, and the child's imaginary friend.  

Anton Barton - living in Midnight Hollow, married to Kara Carter, with a pet unicorn and pet dog.

Joanna - a sim (whose surname I forget right now) living in the Lunar Lakes-inspired custom world Bellatrix.

I currently have a Sunset Valley savegame, playing the Bachelors, with intent to play Bella and Mortimer. That world currently has another of my long-time original characters, Nathaniel Cullen (name inspired by a truck, not a vampire) sharing a house with Christopher Steel.

I also have Bigger Builder's Island, which I use for building and giving sims a few skills and items before placing in another world. I currently have Irri Mrr Grr - a drow sim (black skin, white hair, pointy ears) who was based on Oraania originally - in it's version of Oasis Landing so she can learn Bot Building and put together a Bot family I want to put in Bellatrix.
