Teaching toddlers toddler skills can be hard, since their needs drop quickly, they only have 4 days until aging up and especially if one has more toddlers in their home. Above that, toddlers should have some freetime for playing, socializing and learning the other basic skills. Teaching them the skills is important, since they fulfill valuable wants and earn Aspiration benefits. The three toddler skills are: walking, talking and potty training. Here are some of the easiest ways of teaching toddlers toddler skills, with our without cheats.

Teaching Toddlers Toddler Skills Easily (no cheats)

You will need

• One or more Sims, preferably adults or elders who are not imployed
• A toddler who hasn't learned toddler skills (or hasn't learned some)
• Enough space (for learning how to walk)
• Patience

Steps

1. Choose a time when your Sims and toddler are in a good mood, like when they first move into a house
2. Make sure that there is enough relationship between the toddler and the Sim; if not, try boosting it with simple Play... interactions
3. If you have Seasons installed, use the default setting for seasons, i.e. Summer>Fall>Winter>Spring. Since Summer ends quickly after entering a household, Fall starts - and Fall speeds up every skill-based actions by 25%, including learning toddler skills
4. If a Sim has enough Aspiration points, you can purchase Smart Milk, which makes toddlers learn faster significantly. Just make sure that the Sim preparing the milk has a Gold or higher Aspiration level
5. Learning how to walk: Make sure you have enough space. Small houses aren't a good choise; the outside is the best spot. Just make sure your toddler is wearing Outerwear if the weather is cold.
6. Learning how to talk: It is most probably the easiest skill to learn. Just make sure the needs of your Sims and toddlers are high.
7. Potty training: This can be difficult. To learn it as quickly as possible, make sure that the Bladder motive of the toddler is sufficiently low (but not too low). It takes about 5-7 trips to the potty this way to make the toddler learn this way. It's much faster with Smart Milk and other benefits.
