User blog:LostInRiverview/Time Travel EP scrapped, new EP planned!
Recently, The Sims Wiki has been holding a discussion with Wikia and the TSW community on creating a formal relationship between TSW and Electronic Arts. As a result, we've been notified by EA directly of some interesting changes, especially one regarding the announced Time Travel EP that had been planned to be released this fall.
After Larry Probst took the lead on EA's affairs, some radical reorganization on the publisher's upcoming titles occurred. While new titles, like Mass Effect 4, were announced, others were canceled, like the unnamed time-travel expansion pack. Probst took another lead regarding this expansion pack: "After seeing that the fanbase didn't give the new EP a warm welcome, we've decided to scrap that thought and move into another theme", he said. "So, after scouring the forums on The Sims 3's website, we've encountered a few themes that we think the fans are really asking for in this series."

Here's where The Sims Wiki comes in. The relationship we've forged with EA gives us a unique opportunity to weigh in on the EP that EA ultimately chooses to replace Time Travel. The administrative team, therefore, has been asked to provide a link to an EA poll, meant exclusively for the TSW community and readers.
Follow this link to vote in the new expansion poll! There are many different options there to choose from, including:
- The Sims 3: Reality TV
- The Sims 3: Middle School
- The Sims 3: Theme Parks
and many more!
