Your definition is exactly what this wiki is about, isn't it? Among other things of course, like the encyclopedia nature of a part of this wiki. Since The Sims Wiki has merged with The Sims Fanon Wiki, this wiki is probably one of the closest to what a "fandom" is and so one of the least "affected" (if I can put it this way) by this change.
