[[File:Information.svg|25px]] Hello, I'm [[User:C.Syde65|C.Syde65]]. I noticed that you recently removed some content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to The Sims Wiki with an accurate [[m:Help:Edit summary|edit summary]]. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the [[Project:Sandbox|sandbox]]. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, please leave me a message on [[User_talk:C.Syde65|my talk page]]. ==Sim Request==
Ok, I would do an icon for you if you provide a clear reference of the Sim you want as your icon. It also has to be a Sim you made yourself [[File:Isaiahhsnobg.png|20px]][[User:IsaiahScribblenauts|<span style="color:navy;">IsaiahScribblenauts</span>]] [[File:Plumbob.png|10px]][http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:IsaiahScribblenauts Disscuss] - [http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Fanon_created_and_owned_by_IsaiahScribblenauts My Fanon] 00:30, May 19, 2018 (UTC) Ok I'll send you a screenshot later as soon as we move our Sims game from our old laptop to our new desktop. [[User:Cheseburgermac|Cheseburgermac]] ([]) 10:53, May 19, 2018 (UTC)

==Recent edits==
Look, some of your recent edits to the wiki have been questionable, of exceedingly low quality, or are mostly just time-wasting and problematic for other reasons. Edits like [//sims.wikia.com/index.php?title=Grim_Reaper&diff=813986&oldid=813918 this] are borderline vandalism (the Grim Reaper does not appear in ''Bustin' Out'', hence adding that icon could be seen as inserting false information and would be considered vandalism). Your edits on the [//sims.wikia.com/index.php?title=School_bus&action=history School bus] page also seem rather strange. You created a stub, which another editor saw was better suited to be a redirect to the [[Carpool]] page; instead of helping to merge the content in there you simply undid their edit. When a second editor came to reimplement the redirect, you simply attempted to [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/School_bus?diff=prev&oldid=813970 tag the page for deletion] and left a [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/Category_talk:Candidates_for_deletion?diff=prev&oldid=813968 completely unconvincing rationale for deleting the page]. Recently your edit to [[Vacation Director Kana]] simply [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/Vacation_Director_Kana?diff=prev&oldid=814033 created a grammatical error] for a sentence that was fine beforehand. It also seems apparent that you do not seem to understand the purpose of community discussion and, most importantly, providing valid, thought-out reasons as to why you want something done. Things like your absurdly nonsensical and time-wasting message spam over your temporary mute on the Discord server, [//sims.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:Battles_Revival&diff=prev&oldid=814044 this discussion thread] that simply puts forth an idea without explaining ''why'' it should be done or addressing the initial arguments that resulted in the feature being discontinued in the first place, and comments like [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Adding_Categories_for_aspirations.?diff=prev&oldid=814041 this] that contribute nothing to the discussion. This is just a few examples of low quality edits that are, let's face it, simply wasting other editors' time and patience as people are having to clean up after you. Let us not also forget that I am getting numerous complaints about your behaviour over Discord; a lot of people are finding your behaviour to be bossy and irritable at best. I am going to have to ask you to please do the following things:

* Please do ''not'' edit/send a message until you've put some thought into it. For edits to articles, use the preview button and look over your work. Things like [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/Hospital?diff=prev&oldid=813987 this] are just completely absurd; someone who knows even the most basic levels of English should know that this is not grammatically acceptable. For messages that you're adding to people's talk pages and forum threads, please remember to [[Help:Signature|sign your posts]] by adding four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>). Also, please add at least two line breaks between messages; otherwise, they will simply be located on the same line as the previous message, and will look disorganized and confusing, like you did [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/User:IsaiahScribblenauts/Custom_Icon?diff=prev&oldid=813979 here]. You would have caught all of these if you used the preview button and looked over your work carefully. I know you are a new editor here, which is why you ''really must'' use the preview button and be careful with your edits, as you are simply creating work for the other editors here.
* If you're going to add to a discussion or create a new discussion thread, please don't just add one-sentence "I like", "I don't like", "I want", "I don't want", or anything of the like, as this doesn't add anything to the discussion. We determine things here by consensus, and consensus is formed by thought-out arguments with reasonings as to why things need to be done; we do not operate based on whether people simply want something or not, nor do we operate by voting. "I do not think this should be done because so-and-so" outweighs a million "I want this" comments, the latter of which is simply disruptive and time-wasting, offering nothing to the discussion. The same goes for your mute appeal on Discord: you weren't giving me any good reasons as to why you should be unmuted, you were just wasting my time asking if you could appeal and then making completely irrelevant comments. I asked you the big question: ''why?'', and you never responded to that. When contributing to a discussion, ask yourself the question ''WHY?'', and if you cannot answer this question, it is probably better if you did not comment.
* Please observe some form of netiquette when communicating with other users. Things like [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:SimDestroyer?diff=prev&oldid=813977 this] and [//sims.wikia.com/wiki/The_Sims_Wiki:Administrators%27_noticeboard?diff=prev&oldid=813980 this] are just examples of bad etiquette over the Internet; you sounded very bossy as if other editors and administrators were your servants and you were giving orders for us to obey. This wiki is run entirely by volunteers who aren't obliged to listen to you, and if being bossy, demanding, or otherwise lacking basic manners is what defines you, people are not going to want to respect you back. Same goes for your behaviour on Discord, where you're not observing basic netiquette rules for a ''public'' chat room. If you do not know what netiquette is, perhaps you should read up on and start practicing it. Netiquette is very important everywhere on the Internet, and most editors and users of The Sims Wiki expect at least a basic form of it when communicating.

I'm bringing this to your attention because I'm getting the feeling that some people are starting to become frustrated with you. I can't change their opinions but I do want you to read carefully what I'm bringing up to you and for you to see where you can improve. —[[User:K6ka|'''<span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span>''']] <span title="Canadian!" style="color:red">🍁</span> ([] · [[Special:Contributions/K6ka|<span style="color:#0B4C5F">Contributions</span>]]) 14:33, May 19, 2018 (UTC)

You do not require any skills to get to Level 2 but you still must go to work in a good mood to get promoted. —[[User:K6ka|'''<span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span>''']] <span title="Canadian!" style="color:red">🍁</span> ([] · [[Special:Contributions/K6ka|<span style="color:#0B4C5F">Contributions</span>]]) 12:34, May 20, 2018 (UTC)

== Questions ==

With regards to the services page why did you add a link to animal control on the services page that links the services page to the services page? I am curious as to how that is helpful.

<span style =" font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-weight:italic;">[[User:Daryurian18|<font color="blue"; font-family="Calibri">Daryurian</font>]]</span> <span style="Font-family":'Times New Roman';">([])</span> 11:15, May 22, 2018 (UTC) To link to the actual Animal Control page. That is not a redirect. Best regards [[User:Cheseburgermac|Cheseburgermac]] ([]) 13:11, May 22, 2018 (UTC)

== Seperating comments ==

I have seen some of your comments on discussions and talk pages and I must ask you why are you not seperating your comments from other users comments? Seperating your comments using either : or placing them underneath another persons comment is done as it is professional and not confusing. Adding your comment directly after a another users comment like in here [http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Category_talk:Candidates_for_deletion?diff=814512&oldid=814476 http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Category_talk:Candidates_for_deletion?diff=814512&oldid=814476] just makes the comment look untidy and is difficult for people to read. So please can you seperate your comments when discussion, it's not only irritating for people to seperate your comments manually, it also gives you a bad image as it makes people think you are uncaring or are not professional with regards to discussions.

Thank you

==RE: Deletion of asleep==
FYI you can still recreate pages that have been deleted, if they have not been protected from creation ([[Asleep]] is not protected from creation so you can create it again if you want). Looking at the deleted revisions, it appears that the author who created the page made a stub but later tagged it for deletion, so it was deleted with the "Author request" rationale. —[[User:K6ka|'''<span style="color:#0040FF">k6ka</span>''']] <span title="Canadian!" style="color:red">🍁</span> ([] · [[Special:Contributions/K6ka|<span style="color:#0B4C5F">Contributions</span>]]) 17:02, May 27, 2018 (UTC)

==Warning users==
When warning users, you should keep in mind that the tone, choice of words, and the length of your messages determines how users will feel about the messages they receive. Messages like [//sims.wikia.com/index.php?title=User_talk:72.188.94.178&diff=prev&oldid=815204 this] are likely not very appropriate, given that the user only made two inappropriate edits and did not continue, yet the warning you gave them made it seem like they had been repeatedly vandalizing and were intentionally ignoring previous warnings.

You should consider reading [[The Sims Wiki:Warning]] to see why we issue warnings, and you may wish to consider using some of our prewritten [[The Sims Wiki:Warning/List of warnings|warning templates]] that simplify the process of warning users using carefully written warning messages. If you choose to continue warning users manually, you may also want to read some of the prewritten warning templates and seeing how they're written; specifically, when issuing a "Level One" warning, it is important that the message does not accuse the user of bad conduct, but instead attempts to explain the issue in an informative tone. In general, start off with an informative, civil, and friendly tone that does ''not'' accuse the user of vandalism nor does it threaten them with administrative action, and only begin to escalate the tone of your warnings if they continue ''after'' being warned (you should check the timestamps of their edits and the timestamps of the warnings they received).
