I think Shawn and Mackenzie should end up together after a whirlwind relationship, like Ross and Rachel. Key points of their relationship:
*Casual relationship; she knows about the other women. That becomes awkward, leading to his breakup with her. This breakup stage lasts a long time.
*Mackenzie, after figuring out she still loves him (with a little sage advice from Brianna), tells one of the other women about his many relationships. This leads to a heated arguement, ending with her yelling, "Because I love you!" Then they kiss, end of episode.
*Next episode, the two of them are nowhere to be found, leading to an investigation from the other friends (Brianna thinks that Shawn killed Mackenzie), but the reader discovers that they went to France together.
*Secretly together for a long time.
*Then people find out.
*Engagement.
*Marriage, making Shawn a stepdad! (If they have a child of their own at some point or not is up to you.)
Does that sound like a good overall plot? Gotta go now, chances are I won't come back tonight but hopefully I will.
