Hi. In general, when determining whether or not an NPC is safe to play as, they need to have 1. Full playable character data, 2. A real name, and 3. Are regenerated when moved in. However, as much as I can say about this, please direct your comments to [[Game guide talk:Which NPCs are safe to play as?]] so this can be discussed in the proper venue. :We can't prove that it's unsafe to make Housekeepers playable, "just" because they can't be made playable under normal circumstances. The only way to make Cooks (from ''Nightlife'') playable that I'm aware of is if one of them is used in a walk by on a community lot. I definitely know that they have been used in walk by's in community lots, but I'm not sure if there's any other way to meet them. I haven't had any problems with DJ's in all the time that I've played them, even though there is no way for them to be made playable in normal game-play that I'm aware of.
:In practice it is possible for Social Workers to be made playable without cheats, but that doesn't mean that they are safe to make playable. Many users, possibly yourself included, are aware that Social Workers are not safe to make playable, I've seen proof of this with my own eyes.
