Do you by any chance have the Barnacle Bay world? Many articles of Sims in Barnacle Bay are missing career information, such as [[Laurel Lai]] and [[Gil Lai|her husband]] as an example. Only some of them have career information, but most of them are missing it, so it's hard to tell what career they are actually in and at what level.
