::I assume you're using Audacity? There should be a small drop-down menu on the top-left of each track. Click on it and go to "Set Sample Format". Click on "16-bit PCM". You can also export Audacity projects as OGG files, without the hassle of going through a file converter (and they all claim to be the best... it's so annoying). Also, just wanted to add that we usually pick a 30 second sample from the track and use that. It's easier said than done, but try to pick the catchiest 30-second part of the song. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 02:31, September 16, 2014 (UTC)
:::No, I'm actually using a website at www.online-convert.com that I found on Google. I may be able to trim the song down to the first 30 seconds. Simsilikesims (talk) 02:35, September 16, 2014 (UTC)
::::(edit conflict) ...and I forgot to mention that I added a fade-in and a fade-out effect to the beginning and end of the song! Oh boy, that's a lot to remember! I've written some notes down at Talk:List of songs in The Sims 2.

::::And for the OGG-file-stuff, I mean you can directly convert the files into OGG format right in Audacity, so you don't need an online file converter. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 02:37, September 16, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Recent blog posts
Oh, I did not know it was in the Monobook navigation bar. Unfortunately, I don't know how to manage the Monobook navigation bar, so I tried to restore Special:Recent posts and mimic Special:Blogs. It's still not as up-to-date as Special:Blogs, but it might take some time until it can refresh. (talk) 13:16, October 3, 2014 (UTC)

:I think it might be in MediaWiki:Sidebar but I could be mistaken. The link seems to be restored now though. Thanks! Simsilikesims (talk) 15:38, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

I suppose it might have been notable enough as a TS1 site to warrant a mention. As for AV warnings, I did get one the last time I tried to do a "still there" check, so did not go farther, and have not been back to check since then. Are you sure it's just the zipped iff files that trigger it? As far as I can tell, other remaining TS1 sites don't trigger warnings, and the STS Yahoo groups don't either, and that all have zipped iff files. :I did AV check of my system after visiting the site & found nothing. So it could be something or it could be nothing. Simsilikesims (talk) 00:16, May 28, 2015 (UTC)
