The trait was hinted at during a Q&A session on Twitter<ref>[https://twitter.com/TheSims3/status/19863084705 Tweet] ''@TheSims3 New trait for fast lane? @WibbyTee Maybe''</ref> and was later found within the game files<ref>[http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?p=3281612#post3281612 new trait for Fast Lane discovered in game's STBL].</ref>. It was finally confirmed in a scan of the game manual<ref>[[:File:Fls Page4.jpg]]</ref>. Although it turned out that the trait was not limited to ''[[The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff]]'' but included in [[The Sims 3/Patch 15|Patch 15]].
