The Sims 4 pets includes a compl x adoption system, similar to previous games. Players, through their computers will have the option to adopt a cat or dog. Each adoption fee is $200 per pet, players can also opt to chose more than one pet at the time and is limited to a maximum of 3 at a time.
When choosing the adoption selection button on the computer a pool of cats or dogs will appear. Traits are visible and usually include the animals gender, traits, and whether it is nuetered/spayed. Available ages to players are kitten/puppy and adult.
After selecting through the pool of available pets up for adoption an adoption agent will appear in current lot being used. Players will then have the option to interact and play with the pet in question. After a few interactions players are then given the adoption to adopt the pet.
Once players have payed the adoption fee they have the option to change or randomize names, as well as pick a last name.
