A fish aquarium can be bought in buy mode to keep fish and other marine animals. The tank can be stocked with fish looking at the fish tank will increase a Sims's fun meter.

In The Sims and The Sims 2 (excepting Seasons) fish are not objects themselves. In The Sims 3 fish can be caught by fishing in ponds, rivers, lakes or oceans and placed in bowls or tanks. A bowl holds one fish an aquarium holds six.
