Bars, represented by beer bottle icons on the map, are the lowest class of juice-selling venue but also the most inclusive. Few bars have bouncers and the price of food and drink in bars are very affordable.

Bars open at 11 AM and close at 3 AM the next day, making them open considerably earlier and longer than other types of juice-selling venues. All bars feature stages for bands to play on at gigs.

There are three subtypes of bar.

  • Built away from the center of town, next to a [[Abandoned warehouse}|shady-looking building]], the Dive Bar is the lowest of the low, much like it's usual patrons. Along with a small dance area and a full assortment of bar games, a plasma-screen TV that surprisingly hasn't been stolen is mounted in the corner of the room.
  • A step up from the Dive Bar is the Local Watering Hole, which resembles an Irish pub. While it has a shuffleboard table and dart board like all bars, its foosball table has been swapped out for a stand-up arcade cabinet. A small dance area in front of the stage provides entertainment for more athletic-minded locals.
  • The Sports Bar is the classiest bar. The bouncer keeps out non-human Sims but otherwise let's everyone enter the common room, which features an arcade and seating, if no dance floor. A VIP room in the back of the bar contains all the classic bar games as well as three wall-mounted plasma screens, but only 2-star celebrities (or anyone with §50) are allowed past the bouncer.
