The Board Breaker - Basic is a skill object introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack for The Sims 3.

The Board Breaker is a secondary skill object for the Martial Arts skill, the primary one being the Sheng Hai Training Dummy. Sims can only use the Board Breaker once they reach level 2 in the skill.
There are several kinds of boards to break with this object, they unlock in this order:
- Foam board
- Balsa Wood board
- Oak board
- Thin Stone board
- Space Rock block
Once sims unlock the ability to break Space Rock blocks they can generate new uncut gems on the ground around the Board Breaker with every block they break. This can be very profitable.
