He is the son of [[BobRobert Newbie Sr.]] and [[Mags Newbie]]. He is the husband of [[Betty Newbie]], the father of [[Brandi Broke]] and grandfather of [[Dustin Broke]], [[Beau Broke]] and the [[Unborn Son Broke|unborn son]] of Brandi Broke.

Robert "Bob" Newbie Jr. was one of the premade Sims in The Sims, he and his wife Betty had just moved into the neighborhood at the start of the game. They are inhabitants of '[[Neighborhood 1]]' and make up the welcome wagon. Bob is a Tutorial character who has many similarities to Homer Simpson. Bob is also a lazy slob who lets his wife Betty get him out of trouble or take care of the house. He is characterized by dingy, greasy clothing and a bald head. Although he is married with her, and his relationship with Betty is not very good, heand it is unclear at that time whether or not they are marrie.
