Bridgeport is designed to focus on late night activities, and is similar in many respects to [[Downtown]], a previous [[sub-neighborhood]] introduced in ''[[The Sims: Hot Date]]'' and ''[[The Sims 2: Nightlife]]'' expansion packs. However, Bridgeport is a not a town but a major metropolitan city therefore it is a much larger version of a Downtown.
