Buydebug
Buydebug is a cheat in The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. It allows the player to buy objects that they would otherwise earn from exploring tombs, solving opportunities, etc.
The Sims 3
To activate the buydebug cheat in The Sims 3, you have to open up the cheat box. To do this, press Ctrl+Shift+C. After that, type in ,,testingcheatsenabled on'' , or true, without quotation marks. Then type in ,,buydebug on or true without quotation marks either. Then press enter, Go to buy mode and click on the sort by function button. Then click on the question mark above and then you can search for all kinds of stuff!
The Sims 4
In The Sims 4, the buydebug cheat is a little different than in The Sims 3. It is now called bb.showhiddenobjects on, but it still works like in The Sims 3. All you need to do is open up the cheat box, type in ,,testingcheatsenabled true" (or on) and then type in ,,bb.showhiddenobjects on'' , both without quotation marks. Then enter in Buy or Build Mode, and you can search for anything in the search bar.
