It does not seem that there are special career rewards in the Sims 3. However, on certain jobs, small rewards may be obtained.

Reaching level 10 in the [[Criminal Career (The Sims 3)|Criminal career]] (evil branch) (Evil Leader) will grant your Sim a red aura that glows occasionally, scaring nearby Sims away. Other Evil Sims will be delighted, Cowardly Sims will be afraid and Good Sims will be disgusted.
