Subcategory[edit source]

I'm not sure why we needed this subcategory in the first place, considering the original Category:Neighborhoods doesn't have this (only categories like Category:Sims by neighborhood and Category:Sims by game do). To make it consistent, perhaps Category:Neighborhoods can follow this and make a new pattern, or delete this one and use the conventional way. Thoughts? Nikel Talk Vote! 13:40, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

We have this, which for whatever reason seems to be the only one. When I created Worlds in The Sims 4 category, I based it off the assumption that we had categories for neighborhoods in TS2 and TS as well. - LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 15:57, July 6, 2014 (UTC)
I didn't even know we had that category. Also, I was under the assumption that the category was for each EP, instead of series.
I'm still unsure why worlds need to be specialized from neighborhoods when they have equivalent level. Currently, our category tree is like this:
  • Locations
    • Neighborhoods
      • Neighborhoods in TS3
    • Worlds
      • Worlds in TS4
Neighborhoods in TS2 and TS1 category is missing, and mixed in the generic Neighborhoods category instead. It's like TS3 worlds are equivalent to TS2 & TS1 neighborhoods, while TS4 worlds surpass them both. I find this inaccurate and inconsistent, because no matter how new / advanced / different the way TS4 worlds work, TS3 worlds work very differently from the other 3 series as well. Which means, if TS4 is separated from the rest of the series, TS3 should be too; or if TS3 is merged with the other series, TS4 should be too. The category tree should be more like this, IMO:
  • Locations
    • Neighborhoods and worlds
      • Neighborhoods in TS1
      • Neighborhoods in TS2
      • Neighborhoods in TS3
      • Worlds in TS4
Worlds, as far as we know in TS4, are just equivalent in level to neighborhoods in other series. They're the main town where Sims live. However, we still need to know more about TS4 without jumping into conclusions. There are so many technical stuff we haven't been able to understood, not to mention all these features could be changed at any time. Nikel Talk Vote! 16:54, July 6, 2014 (UTC)
