Celebrity status

Celebrity Status is a new feature in Late Night. Sims can attempt to achieve celebrity status, by doing things like bragging about their mixology skills, which basically means bartentending, or through playing gigs with a band. It also involves having good relationships with the rest of already existing celebrities. Celebrity NPC's are distinuished for having a gold star over their heads. If things go well with the conversation your sim could then leech off the celebrity's fame.

With enough celebrity status you can access a housing development across a bridge where giant houses sit in low lying hills. It also helps if your sim's wish happens to be to act in or direct a film, which can be done on at the city's movie set. Being famous also means you get free drinks and access to exclusive bars and clubs where other celebrity types hang out. The downside appearswhen your sims are harrased by the Paparazzi NPC's which results on relationship drop with said sim.
