A coffeemaker is an object in The Sims and The Sims 2 that raises Energy while lowering Bladder. In The Sims, it's known as Mr. Regular-Joe Coffee, and has an Energy rating of 1 and a Bladder rating of -1. It is always full, and Sims are not charged for using it on residential lots.

In The Sims 2, the coffeemaker is given an Energy rating of 3, and renamed the Extra Pep Coffeemaker. It still has a Bladder rating of -1. In The Sims 2, a Sim will have to "Make Coffee" before anyone will be able to drink it, but there is no charge for doing this. A full pot of coffee holds six cups, and the coffee will be good indefinitely. Kitchen & Bath Stuff adds the Drip Drip Drip Little Coffeemaker by Kitchensations, which sells for §105, but is otherwise the same.

Espresso machines

The Sims, The Sims 2, and The Sims 3: World Adventures include espresso machines, which are more expensive, but provide more Energy than regular coffeemakers.

In The Sims, the espresso machine is the Gagmia Simore Espresso Machine, which sells for §450. It has an Energy rating of 2 and a Bladder rating of -2. A drawback to this object is that it frequently breaks when used.

In The Sims 2, it is the Ciao Time Espresso Machine. It still sells for §450, but has an Energy rating of 4 and a Bladder rating of -1. It is sturdier than the machine from The Sims, and does not appear to break when used.

Sims 3 Coffee Makers

In The Sims 3, the coffeemaker is available in the base game. It's called the Excellent Anson Hot Beverage Maker and is worth §1100 when new and §440 when fully depreciated (after 6 Sim days). The Excellent Anson Hot Beverage Maker has an Energy rating of 3 but, unlike coffeemakers in other games, does not affect the Bladder need. The Das BrauenMeister and Ultra Lounge Hot Beverage Machine are available at the Sims 3 Store for 75 SimPoints each. Both have Energy ratings of 3.

The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack contains a new coffee maker called the Juspresso XTi-French Beverage Maker. It has an Energy rating of 4. It is worth §1400 when brand new and §560 when fully depreciated. Its description is:

This beverage maker uses proprietary French technology to ensure the highest quality beverage makes it to your mouth. It's backed by our 30 day no questions asked warranty (unfortunately, the warranty does not apply to this model, as this is the XTi version).
