In The Sims 2: FreeTime, Sims can join cooking, dancing or video game competitions.
Cooking contest
Sims can join cooking contests on special community lots where you will compete with other Sims to get blue ribbon and a cash prize. For this you have to go to the lot where you see a food judging table.
To enter the contest you must prepare any group meal and place it in your inventory which should be uneaten and submit the food by placing it on the food judging table.
The food is then judged by the following ways in order to determine a winner:
- whether it is cooked or burnt
- the quality
- high cooking skill
If you win then you get the cash prize, that is, 500 simoleons and the blue ribbon, which gives you an opportunity to show-off to the other Sims and makes you happy especially if you defeat the secret lot instructor.
